At the Antonio Battaglia Gallery in Milan - Italy
Press release
On Thursday 18 January 2024, at 6.30 pm, at the Antonio Battaglia Gallery in via Ciovasso 5, in the heart of Milan's Brera district, the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the 2023 International Artist of Europe Award will take place.
Over 680 artists from 31 European countries participated in the event. Among them, the 21 most talented artists were identified, winners of the Award. The exhibition of the winning works will take place from 18 to 28 January 2024 at the Antonio Battaglia Gallery in Brera (MI).
Organised by PitturiAmo, the organisation acts as a filter to identify the best artists on the circuit. In collaboration with the best international gallery owners in order to build a network between all art operators (gallerists, curators, critics, consultants, art advisors, etc...) and artists, to help them grow and be recognized for their work. "It is precisely with the help of international gallery owners that we hope to be able to find a suitable place for each talented artist." This is what Nino Argentati, founder and president of PitturiAmo, says.
And this is precisely the ultimate goal of the project called "Top Selection", that is, a selection of top-level international artists, identified exclusively by gallery owners from the largest international cities (Rome, Vienna, Madrid, Milan, Paris, New York, those currently participating) with which PitturiAmo organizes art events promoting and selecting artists in continuous evolution, with an increasingly rich and prestigious curriculum.
All the artists in the TOP SELECTION will also be included on a special website with access reserved for international gallery owners, thus having the opportunity to obtain discounts and exclusive invitations to the best art events, chosen and selected by the gallery owners themselves.
For the Milan event, it was Antonio Battaglia, the important owner of the eponymous Brera gallery, who carried out a long and difficult selection to reach the works that will be exhibited live in his gallery. And here are the names of the winners:
