Award for achievements in promoting Georgian culture

Lika Shkhvatsabaia has been awarded the 2017 Diaspora Award

We congratulate the artist Lika Shkhvatsabaia on being awarded the 2017 Diaspora Award for the Promotion of Georgian Culture.

Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze held the official ceremony of the Diaspora Awards, where 12 representatives of the diaspora who are leaving their mark on their host countries with their talent and intellect in art, science, sport, culture and other fields were also honoured.

The awards were presented by the Minister of Culture and Protection of Monuments Mikheil Giorgadze; the Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs David Sergeenko; Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Tariel Khechikashvili; Minister of State of Georgia.
